Gala Rugby was formed in 1875 and we are proud to be celebrating our 150th Anniversary in the 2025/26 season. We are very proud to have achieved the longevity as a club and in the process we have had 50 players capped by Scotland, with 7 of these also representing the British & Irish Lions.

To mark this milestone in our history we are working on a series of events, alongside a range of commemorative memorabilia such the Gala Rugby 150th Anniversary Book, Club Ties, Cashmere Scarves and other merchandise.

We plan to launch the 150th Anniversary Season with a Club Dinner and to end this historic season we will close out with a Grand Ball. Venues and Ticket information for both of these events will be released in due course.
