Gala are delighted to announce that their captain for the coming season will be Rex Jeffrey.
Rex has been a regular in the 1st XV for the past five years and has played almost 100 matches for the club in his preferred position of centre.
He was appointed as joint Vice Captain (backs) last season .
Although this season has already been disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic Rex is looking forward to working with the new coaching team, led by Fraser Thomson under Director of Rugby Bill Noble, and to stretching himself and the team against Premiership and National 1 competition in the Tennents Light blended conference against purely Border opposition.
