RETURN OF FRIDAY LUNCH CLUB

The first lunch of the season will be held on Friday 3rd October when Mr John O’Lone will be the speaker. John is a well-known raconteur and he should start this series in style. Due to a number of factors the cost of each lunch has had to be increased to £30 per person but still represents fantastic value – one introductory drink on arrival, a two-course meal, coffee/tea, cheese & biscuits, two bottles of wine and one bottle of port on each table; and excellent company, of course!

Weekly Lotto

Gala Rugby FSA Project

Gala Rugby FSA project.

Hygiene, Healthy Eating & Activity in Primary Schools (HHEAPS)

In 2007 Scottish Rugby entered into partnership with the Food Standards Agency (Scotland) to deliver a food safety and healthy eating programme in tandem with rugby activities to thousands of primary school pupils across Scotland. They firmly believe that sport can play a powerful role in providing the catalyst to improving the quality of life for young people in communities across Scotland, in particular to improving their health & wellbeing.

Gala Rugby have fully supported this project and are pleased that
Both St Peters Primary School and the Burgh Primary School recently completed the project. Ian G Millar the Gala Rugby Youth Development Officer presented both schools with some rugby equipment.

We are pleased to say that Gala rugby will again deliver the programme next year to two more schools.
